LogicMonitor
Connecting LogicMonitor to NeuBird lets investigations pull in monitored resource/device inventory, active alerts, and time-series metric data directly from your LogicMonitor portal.
With the LogicMonitor integration, you can:
- Look up monitored resources, datasources, and scheduled downtime as configuration context
- Pull active alerts (severity, affected resource, alert rule) into an investigation
- Retrieve time-series metric datapoints (CPU, memory, network, and other collected metrics) for a specific resource
NeuBird connects to LogicMonitor using a Bearer Token, one of LogicMonitor’s supported REST API authentication methods.
Create a LogicMonitor Bearer Token
Section titled “Create a LogicMonitor Bearer Token”- Sign in to your LogicMonitor portal as a user with permission to manage API tokens.
- Open Settings > Users and Roles > API Tokens.
- Select the Bearer Tokens tab and click Add.
- Give the token a clear, descriptive name (for example
NeuBird - <env>), and assign it a role with read access to the resources, alerts, and metrics you want NeuBird to use. - Save the token. The generated Bearer Token will be displayed — copy it now, as it will not be shown again.
Note
The token inherits whatever permissions its assigned role has in LogicMonitor. Use a read-only role unless a specific use case requires write access.
